The Workplace Charging Scheme and how it works
- The Government recently announced that the Workplace Charging Scheme will end on 31st March, 2024 at 11.59pm
- The Workplace Charging Scheme is available if you are a business, charity or public sector organisation.
- It is a government grant which covers up to 75% of the total costs of purchasing and installing EV charging points at the work place.
- The Workplace Charging Scheme covers a maximum value of £350 per charge point and a total of 40 charge points across all sites, per applicant.
- This allows a workplace to purchase and install charge points with a potential saving of £14,000!
- You can also claim a further £500 per charge point for the related infrastructure.
- A voucher based scheme, applied for online by the workplace.After installation of the chargepoint(s), we redeem the voucher to claim the grant from the Government.
