Why install a fast electric car charger for home?

electric car charge point referral

Ready to take electric car ownership to another level with a fast electric car charger for home?

Owning an electric car is great, and you’ll love it that you’ve reduced your carbon footprint. With the bonus of huge savings against pump prices and never having fuel stinking fingers again.

But let me tell you this: if you’re still driving your car to find an available public charge point, then you’re not getting the most out of the experience of owning an electric vehicle. Why?

  • The wasted time and electric it takes to find the nearest available and working charge point.
  • You then spend two hours or more at the charge point, wasting even more precious time.
  • The electric costs are much higher than at home.
  • You end up spending even more money on coffee and snacks whilst waiting.
  • Public charge points are becoming more saturated, which results in longer waiting times.
  • You get frustrated when you arrive to find it’s broken.
  • Although it’s got 2 charging points, the charger you choose can only charge 1 car at a time

Trust me, these things will stress you out, they did us, until we installed a fast electric car charger for home.

Both my wife and I are early adopters and swapped to electric, as we worked out (based on total cost of ownership) it wouldn’t cost us anymore, and we wanted to do our bit for the environment.

We also soon found out a fast electric car charger for home was a necessity not a luxury (although we have 2 EV’s one charge point is more than adequate, we charge on alternate nights whilst sleeping).

Never again have we suffered from range anxiety, because you couldn’t be bothered to drive to a charging station the night before to waste 2 hours of our life, and most of our salary in Starbucks

With a home charge point, you take control of your time and your life, and installing one doesn’t need to cost the earth and be a pain in the backside.

Most EVs are provided with a regular 3-pin plug charging solution by the manufacturer, which takes around 24 hours (a long time) to fully charge EV’s, depending on battery size.

The best way to charge an EV is to install a fast electric car charger for home, which provides up to 30-mile of range per charging hour. After a peaceful night’s sleep, you’ll always have a full charge.

There is a wide range of options and factors you need to consider when purchasing a fast home charge point, such as size, colour, tethered or socketed, solar or battery connectivity and design.

Which is why we have a range of the best available fast charge points with free impartial advice, and guaranteed installation times by our experienced employed (no contractors) installers.
