Could new electric car deliveries be improving?
Over the last week, we’ve been speaking to various people in the vehicle supply sector, and we’ve got a clear understanding of what’s happening with delayed car deliveries and new car orders.
They’re telling us that most new electric vehicle orders are now available on a 4 – 5-month delivery wait, which is pretty much back to normal service.
Although, some sought-after exceptions – like the Porsche Taycan – are still delayed for 6 – 12 months. But most previous supply issues now seem to be rectified.
We’re being told September is the month that things will flip (in a good way) for people; previously delayed electric cars are starting to be delivered and supply issues on new orders are easing.
Interestingly, this outlook is backed up with a slow-down in used car sales, which is a good indicator that new stock is becoming available.
Hopefully, you’ll be getting a call soon from the car dealership or car leasing company, saying ‘your new car is arriving in 2 to 3-week.’
Before this horrendous vehicle delay period, people were referring their friends, family, and workplaces to us for an EV charger installation and making cash for each one installed.
We very much hope we can get back to these times, so we can continue paying you referral rewards for an EV charger installaton.
As a reminder – every home electric car charger referral resulting in an installation – you receive £25, and – every workplace car charging installation referral – nets you £50.
